Meet The Coaches:
CHRIS HAMPTON’s success in delivering inspiring coaching programmes was recognised last year when he won the National Coach of the Year Award for 2015.
He is a proud Oxonian and has represented Oxfordshire both as a junior and a senior.
He is a highly motivated Level 5 Master Club Coach with an outstanding record of coaching players from grass roots to performance.
TOM FRANCIS began playing as a junior at Woodstock, where he was a member for over 10 years. He is a Level 4 LTA Senior Club Coach, and currently coaches at Radley College where he delivers individual and team coaching.
Before his current role at Radley Tom worked in Melbourne, Australia, helping Tennis Victoria develop their participation strategy and coaching at the famous Kooyong Tennis Club.
Tom runs the Oxfordshire Boys 12U team, taking them to regular county competitions. As well as having a passion for coaching, Tom is a national standard referee and can often be found helping players on their competition journey.
ALLAN COOPER likes to build long-standing, trusted relationships with players and parents alike, to deliver a consistent programme across all age categories and abilities.
Although Allan’s current focus is working with performance players, he has vast experience of working across all ages and abilities, and enjoys the balance of encouraging developing players to grow their confidence and unlock their potential.
RACHEL TUCKER is an LTA level 3 qualified coach who works with all ages across the programme, and runs our popular Monday morning ladies coaching sessions. Rachel has a proven track record in introducing players into the game and developing them into sound tennis players.
