Tennis Coaching

Meet The Coaches:

CHRIS HAMPTON's success in delivering inspiring coaching programmes was recognised last year when he won the National Coach of the Year Award for 2015.

He is a proud Oxonian and has represented Oxfordshire both as a junior and a senior.

He is a highly motivated Level 5 Master Club Coach with an outstanding record of coaching players from grass roots to performance.

TOM FRANCIS began playing as a junior at Woodstock, where he was a member for over 10 years. He is a Level 4 LTA Senior Club Coach, and currently coaches at Radley College where he delivers individual and team coaching.

Before his current role at Radley Tom worked in Melbourne, Australia, helping Tennis Victoria develop their participation strategy and coaching at the famous Kooyong Tennis Club.

Tom runs the Oxfordshire Boys 12U team, taking them to regular county competitions. As well as having a passion for coaching, Tom is a national standard referee and can often be found helping players on their competition journey.

LORRAYNE GRACIE is a former professional who played the women's circuit for five years.

She then gained many years experience of coaching at all levels from beginner to advanced, and at the same time was twice National Senior Singles Champion and Captain of the Great Britain team.

Since 2011 Lorrayne has performed a player liaison role during The Wimbledon Championships and is an active member of the All-England Club

Lorrayne, like Tom a Level 4 LTA coach, has recently moved to Woodstock and is looking forward to working with all our members, junior and senior, and sharing her experience and enthusiasm for tennis.
