We are fund raising for the Club by running a weekly Lottery. Click here for more details. So far we have raised £668 towards club funds with a further £668 being given out in winnings. Keep up the good work. We shall start collecting again at Presentation Evening on the 24th September - so get your chequebooks out!!!
During the summer 2009 - 36 members took part every week and the first winners were David Bright, Frank Nelson, Rosalie Stone and Carol Williams (each winning £20.25), then Carol Morgan won £81 and finally David Pratt won £45.
During the winter 2009/2010 - 30 members took part in the Lottery and Ken Bolton was the first winner receiving £30. A further 4 members then joined and the second game was shared between Helen Comley, Keith Comley and Graham Owen (each winning £12.75). The third game was won by Rosalie Stone (second win) and she received £29.75. The fourth game was shared between Brian Clarke, Sheila Nelson and Carol Williams (second win) (each winning £12.75). The fifth game was won by Rosalie (third win) and she received £17. The sixth game was shared between David Bright (second win), Brian Clarke (second win) and David Pratt (second win) (each winning £11.33). The seventh game was won by Sheila Thompson and she received £29.75. The eighth game was won by Terry Summers and he received £17. The final game for the winter was won by Barbara Burton and she received £8.50.
We have started a new draw for the summer 2010 with 38 members taking part. The first game was won by Barbara (second win) and she received £33.25. The second game was won by Liz Eatock and she also won £33.25. The third game has been won by Colin Taylor and he received £28.50. The fourth winner was Helen Comley (second win) and she won £42.75.
